The Lion King is an animated musical film that tells the story of Simba, a young lion who is destined to become king of the Pride Lands. After the tragic death of his father, Mufasa, Simba flees in guilt and fear, only to learn about courage, responsibility, and the circle of life as he grows up. With the help of friends Timon and Pumbaa, he returns to challenge his treacherous uncle Scar and reclaim his rightful place as king.
